Doughnuts and Coffee with the Principal

Greetings everyone, on Wednesday, January 13, I will provide doughnuts and coffee for anyone who would like to come in and discuss the technology that we are using at Cherry Street. I'm planning on taking a look at our use of Google Drive with the students, and how we are using Google Classroom to help prepare the students for the Middle School and beyond. 5th Grade to Middle School Meeting On Monday, May 2nd, the Middle school will be hosting a 5th G rade Parent Night. The focus of this meeting is to welcome incoming students and their parents to the middle school. Brief workshops and tours will serve to introduce the students to their future teachers, and discuss school expectations with the parents. Below is an itinerary for this event. 5th Graders: This Announcement is for You!!! Don't forget that the Middle School orientation for 5th graders is Thursday, 5/14/15. The orientation will begin at 4:30 with pizza and beverages. At 5:00, the orientation will begin. Parents, please bring your 5th grader with you to this event. All of the mysteries of the middle school will be revealed. :-)

Pirates of Penzance

Pirates of Penzance Viewing On Friday, April 8, 2016, 4th and 5th grade students will be walking to the High School to see a special viewing of the high school's rendition of, The Pirates of Penzance . We will be leaving the school at 12:50 and returning in time for dismissal. Please make sure your student has appropriate attire (coat, hat, mittens) for the walk. If, by chance, we have anyone with crutches, we will make sure they don't have to suffer the walk over.  :-)  Thanks!
